More than 3,000 visitors a day
Fourteen large canvases comprise the exhibition at the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) in Malaga

The count down is on to be able to see the much-visited ‘Sorolla, visión de España’ exhibition originally showing at Malaga’s Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) until September 21st. The run of the exhibition was extended until today (Tuesday 23rd) the operning hours were extended and it now finally closes at 2 a.m. tomorrow morning.
This exhibition comprises 14 large canvases, which are on loan from the Hispanic Society New York who commissioned the works to decorate their premises in 1911.
When the exhibition was in the artist’s home city of Valencia, more than half a million people went to see it in the five months it was on show. At the CAC more than 3,000 people have visited the exhibition a day and it will move to Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid before going back to Valencia after the run in Malaga.
